The New Pony in Town: Chapter 13

The owner of the red eyes looked back at Yoyo and Small Talk. She was in the shadows, her eyes looking like two shiny red rubies staring eerily into their very souls. Small Talk was scared, frozen in terror, but Yoyo stood his ground, firmer than a mountain.

"Shadow Heart?" Yoyo asked.

The owner of the ruby eyes walked forward, and revealed an small, shadow-coated alicorn with a black and red mane and tail. Her eyes matched her ruby colored mane. She smiled at the duo.

"Hello, Yoyo, and... Stinging?" Shadow Heart greeted, surprised at Small Talk's appearance.

"I'm Small Talk now, i don't like to be called Stinging Remark." Small Talk said, getting out of his scared stance.

"Oh... I see... Well, have you heard from Skate Around?" Shadow said, her eyes widened with concern for her former roommate.

"Well, we both have seen him, he said he needed to go over to Sweet Apple Acres, to help somepony." Yoyo said,

"Sweet Apple Acres?" Shadow Heart asked, uneasily.

"Why does that make you uneasy?" Small Talk asked.

"I'm getting a bad feeling... like... something happened over there..." Shadow Heart said, looking out the window, out to Sweet Apple Acres.

---Back at Sweet Apple Acres...

The two red stallions were looking around to see the mob of ponies closing in on them. Skaters saw an open door, got and idea, and turned his head to Big Mac.

"Big Mac! I have an idea, but you are gonna have to trust me on this." Skaters said.

"Why?!" Big Mac said to him.

"Just trust me! Please, this might be our only way out of here..." Skaters said, looking at him dead in the eye.

Big Mac looked around, seeing the mob closing in, eyes full of the need for bleed.

"Alright, what do we do?" Big Mac finally said.

"When i say go, grab me by my front hooves and spin me around." Skaters explained.

"What?!"

"Trust me."

"Alright... whenever your ready, though i hate to rush you, we aren't in the type of situation to wait."

"Okay... GO!" Skaters said, holding out his front hooves.

Big Mac grabbed his hooves and spun him around. Skaters started kicking out his hind legs, kicking ponies in the face, knocking them out. Kick after kick, the ponies fell down, and hit the walls. Soon, all the ponies were knocked out. Big Mac stopped spinning Skaters around, and Skaters fell to the ground, tired.

"Heehee, nothing to it." Skaters said, smiling.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! GET UP AND GET THOSE STALLIONS!" Applejack yelled from atop the platform.

The ponies started getting up, and coming out of being knocked out, they looked like robots.

"Big Mac! The door!" Skaters yelled.

"Right!" Big Mac said, running toward the door, Skaters following closely behind.

Both stallions ran out of the barn, faster than a bullet. They didn't stop until they were near town hall, at which point, they caught their breath.

"I... think... we... lost them..." Skaters said.

"I think... you're right..." Big Mac said.

"Well, let's go, Shadow Heart's house is near here." Skaters said, walking.

"Shadow Heart?"

"She's my roommate... well was my roommate."

"Oh, i see."

"Well, let's go."

"Eeyup."

The two stallions made their way around the Town hall, and were almost to the house, when they both heard some pony talking. It sounded like the same frightening voice as the voice on the bridge. Skaters was drawn to the voice and listened.

"What are you doing?" Big Mac whispered, going to where Skaters was, quietly.

"Shh..." Skaters sounded quietly.

Both of them listened to the conversation.

"Madam Pie! I have a report!" some pony said. He talked with a country accent.

"Report, Red Delicious." the familiar voice responded. The utter of the name made Big Mac's eyes widen in disbelief.

"Red Delicious is in on this? What is going on with everypony?" Big Mac thought to himself.

"Madam Apple has reported to me that a red and black pony has freed Big Macintosh from the barn." Red Delicious explained.

"...! That pony... what is his plan?! Why is he doing this?!" the one named "Madam Pie" Boomed, as she stomped on the ground in anger. This made both Skaters and Big Mac jump alittle.

"I want you, to inform the other 4 of the description of this pony!" Madam Pie ordered.

"E-Even Madam Dash?" Red Delicious asked.

"YES EVEN MADAM DASH! I DON'T CARE IF SHE IS ON THE NORTHEAST OF MANEHATTAN! INFORM THE OTHER 4 MADAMS!" Madam Pie shouted, which made Red Delicious gallop away in fear. "Ugh... someponies, do i have to repeat myself all the time?!" Madam Pie said to herself as she stormed inside Town Hall, slamming the door.

"Oh gosh..." Skaters said, eyes widened.

"Was that Pinkie?" Big Mac asked.

"I think it was... but... why did she act like that?" Skaters said.

"I don't know... but we should go, i don't want to be around when she comes outside." Big Mac said, walking toward Shadow Heart's house.

"Oh, right!" Skaters said, following him.

The duo walked up to the house slowly and quietly. Big Mac knocked on the door, and they both waited. The eye hatch opened, the two ruby red eyes stared out, then widened. Then the hatch closed, the door swung open, and the two ponies were pulled inside by two shadow colored hooves. The door closed and locked three more times.

"Skate, i'm glad you are alright." the shadow colored pony said with a smile of relief, as she turned on the lights.

"Shadow Heart, I'm glad you are alright too." Skaters said, smiling at Shadow Heart both in relief, and in uneasiness.
