The New Pony in Town: Chapter 15

Small Talk was too terrified to even scream, as he came face to face with Madam Pie, the owner of the voice that he, Skaters and Yoyo heard on the bridge. Then, a yellow flash made Madam Pie hit the ground in a fraction of a second. There, flying above him, was a Sunshine yellow-colored pegasus with a mane and long tail that was colored a light turquoise. On the stallion's flank was a cutie mark of an anvil. The pegasus's eyes were red with helpful determination, and his glare was shooting at Madam Pie.

"You need to get out of here, i'll hold her off." the stallion said.

"Wait... i know you... you're, Sunshine Star aren't you?" Small Talk uttered, getting out of his intimidated trance.

"Yeah, and you are getting out of here and to somewhere safe." Sunshine said, sternly.

"B-But..."

"Now!"

Small Talk got up and ran over to the otherside of town hall, then stopped when he heard Madam Pie scream out.

"I WAS HAVING A CONVERSATION WITH THAT STALLION! HOW DARE YOU INTERRUPT A MADAM, LET ALONE ASSAULT ONE!!!" Madam Pie screamed.

She got up and whistled. To answer the call were 4 Madam Pie clones with red dresses of the same style, to differentiate between them. The Pink-dressed Madam Pie smiled a sharp-toothy smile, as she commanded.

"Get him!" she ordered.

The four madam clones ran after Sunshine, trying to grab him and drag him down. But Sunshine kept flying away, to escape from the 4 clones.

"TRY TO SLOW HIM DOWN! THROW STUFF, TICKLE HIM IF YOU HAVE TO, BUT GET THAT PEGASUS!!!" Madam Pie screamed as she watched from above a building.

The 4 clones then tried to do anything and everything to try and slow him down. But the things they threw missed him frequently, and when they tried to tickle him, he would speed up or whip them in the face with his tail. Small Talk, from behind the Town Hall, noticed that Sunshine was slowing down, he looked around and he saw a random boomerang on the ground, picked it up and ran out from behind Town Hall, he started spinning around with the boomerang in his mouth. Madam Pie saw Small Talk in the middle and she shouted at the 4 clones;

"FORGET THAT PEGASUS! GET THAT VIOLET EARTH PONY!!!"

Then, the 4 clones instantly went away from Sunshine and toward Small Talk. Even though one clone was close to tickling him, she listened with obedience. Sunshine rested on a rooftop, he panted and saw Small Talk spinning around.

"But let me tell you, Madam Pie... this hat doesn't just hide my hair! It hides... MY HORN!" Small Talk shouted at Madam Pie through the boomerang, and he finished, his black beanie flew off, revealing an amethyst-colored unicorn horn. While he kept spinning around, his horn started to glow a pink-ish violet color, which made the wind pick up, making a kind of twister. While Madam Pie's eyes widened, her clones were getting pulled in.

Suddenly, Small Talk let the boomerang go, making the twister go over the clones and making them fly up to the sky and making them land hard when the twister disappears. As the 4 clones fell to the ground, and then the boomerang came back to Small Talk, catching it in his mouth again. When the clones fell to the ground, they disappeared in sparks of pink light, like they were nothing more than magic illusions.

"T-THIS ISN'T OVER YET!" Madam Pie shouted as she jumped onto more roofs, escaping.

"Sunshine! are you okay?!" Small Talk shouted up.

"Yeah... just tired..." Sunshine said, floating down to the ground.

"Come on, let's go, i know someplace where we will be safe." Small talk said as he guided Sunshine over to Shadow Heart's house.

They arrive to the house and go inside. Skaters was so happy to see Sunshine.

"Sunshine! You're safe!" Skaters said, hugging Sunshine.

"Hi Skate," Sunshine said. "Or do you like being called Skaters?"

Skaters' ears went down, in sadness.

"Oh... it doesn't matter... i'm sorry that i didn't tell you the truth..." Skaters sadly said.

"It's fine, you just didn't want anypony to be scared of you, i understand." Sunshine said.

"Thanks, but i probably left a bad impression on everypony..." Skaters said, sadly.

"You left a good first impression on me when we met, first impressions don't change." Sunshine reassured.

"Hehe... true..." Skaters said, giggling.

"Well, i'm glad you're safe."

"I'm glad you're safe too."

"Hey guys," Yoyo interrupted. "I don't mean to interrupt, but Small Talk found us some information."

"Right, let's go."

"Got it."

Skaters and Sunshine went into the kitchen, where Big Mac, Shadow Heart, and Small Talk were discussing what they read. Big Mac was sitting down next to Small Talk, while Shadow Heart was getting ready to make food.

"So, what did you get?" Skaters asked.

"Oh it was very helpful, read this note!" Small Talk said, giving him the book.

"It's a letter from Twilight." Big Mac added.

Skaters and Sunshine both read the letter in the book. They looked at each other, the back at the book.

"It takes Trust, Judgement, Belief, Joy, Courage, and Love to strengthen friendship...' Skaters recited.

"...And to make Harmony unbreakable." Sunshine finished.

"We need to find these elements, maybe they can help turn the mane six back to their normal selves." Skaters said.

"If we can find them... but if they are all around Equestria, we don't have the time to find them all." Yoyo said.

"He's right, we don't have that much time, Discord could destroy Equestria by the time we found them all." Big Mac said.

"True, but we need all the help we can get." Shadow Heart said.

"That is true too..." Sunshine said.

"You know, we should sleep on it, and think about it in the morning." Small Talk suggested. "Because i'm tired..."

"Well, dinner is almost ready!" Shadow Heart said, smiling.

"I actually am hungry..." Skaters said.

"Me too..." Yoyo said.

Big Mac's stomach growled, but it sounded like a roar rather than a growl.

"Hehehe... I'm hungry too..." Big Mac said, chortling.

"Well, now it's ready!" Shadow Heart said, smiling.

Everyone applauded and sat down at the table. Shadow Heart then put a huge, colorful bowl of salad of lettuce, carrots, cherry tomatoes, flowers, and cucumbers. Everyone ate their fill, and complemented on the taste of dinner.

"Wow... the cherry tomatoes give it a nice touch." Small Talk savored.

"Truly." Yoyo agreed.

After dinner, sleeping arrangements were being made. It was decided that Yoyo and Big Mac would sleep in the living room, Shadow Heart would sleep in her room, and Sunshine, Skaters, and Small Talk would sleep in Skater's room. After the sleeping arrangements were made, all 6 ponies went to bed, and slept the night away, unaware of what tomorrow might hold.
