Evanescence: Chapter 3 part 3

Bakemono was the first to act at the carnivorous flora that stood in front of them. He rushed at the Rafflesia and clawed through one of the petals. Just then, Torture Ivy had rushed at Bakemono, and almost bound him again. Skaters, seeing the Torture Ivy coming, he drew his sword, and slashed through all the Torture Ivy that rushed at Bakemono.

"Don't worry Bakemono! I got your back!" Skaters assured, readying his sword for the Rafflesia.

"T-Thanks, Skaters." Bakemono said, getting his claws ready.

"Hey! don't start the party without me!" Enigma said, getting a sword of light ready.

"Don't leave me out either, little bro!" Raze said, getting into a fighting stance.

"Alright, It's harvest time!" Skaters said as he and everyone else rushed at the monster.

Skaters run at the monster and slashed at the Blood red petals, one of the petals were cut, revealing the green blood that ran through the Rafflesia's roots. As the petal bled and was exposed to the air, the Rafflesia shrieked in pain, and used an ivy-arm to wrap around his ankle, and tickled his belly with the other.

"AAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA NOHOHOHOHOHO STOHOHOHOHOP!" Skaters laughed, losing his breath, getting light headed.

"HEY!" Raze shouted at the monster, whom a laughing Skaters was at it's mouth, "PUT HIM DOWN!" As he finished, he jumped up, raised his leg over his head, shouted;

"GUILLOTINE KICK!" As he finished, he brought his leg down, making his whole body go down, and as if with a guillotine execution, came down on both of its ivy arms, and cut them both, letting Skaters go. Skaters hit the ground, coughing, from lack of breath.

"Thanks...Raze..." Skaters said, panting.

"No problem little bro." Raze said, smiling.

Then, the Rafflesia hit Raze with a thorny branch, and knocked him away. The Rafflesia then began to whirl its petals like a saw, heading for Skaters! Then, Bakemono rushes at and stopped the saw with his claws, cutting all its petal into bleeding. This made the Rafflesia shriek louder, which hurt Bakemono's, Raze's, and Skater's ears. Then, Enigma rose his sword of light, shattered it, and made the shards come together and sliced its tongue of.

"No one likes a temper tantrum!" Enigma said, cutting its tongue off.

The Rafflesia couldn't scream anymore, which made it hit Raze and Bakemono to the sides, they both gotten bound by the Torture Ivy that blocked all exits. The Rafflesia had rushed at Skaters and Enigma.

"What do we do?!" Skaters shouted.

Enigma thought hard, and then looked at Skaters, and said;

"I have an idea, use your powers of light to make a sword!"

"Okay..." Skaters said, making a sword of light.

"You ready?" Enigma said, making another sword of light. "Now, we stand back to back."

"Alright!" Skaters said, realizing his plan and stood back to back with Enigma.

"Sword of the Wizard." Enigma recited.

"Sword of the Warrior." Skaters recited

"Let our blades become one..." Enigma also recited.

"Come together and slash through evil!" Skaters also said.

As the rose their swords together at the same time, their swords joined together, and they both shouted out;

"TWINLIGHT SLASH!"

They brought the giant sword of light down and slashed the Rafflesia, cutting it in half, which made the deadly flower explode in a cloud of Dark Aura, which extracted more dark aura from the forest, which made the Woods brighter and livelier, and then the dark aura disintegrated. That made the Torture Ivy and the Rafflesia disappear and turned into a woman with a green dress, and a rose tiara.

"Who is that?" Raze asked, looking at the woman.

"I don't know..." Bakemono said.

They all went over to her and checked to see if she was okay. The woman got up and floated up and spoke in everyone's minds.

"Thank you so much kind sirs, you have freed me from the power of Malice! I am the goddess of flora, Kusamura. You have destroyed a piece of Malice that lived in the forests. I thank you for saving them." the woman said in their minds.

"How did you become overtaken by the power Malice?" Skaters asked.

"Well young one, i was tending to the trees and the flowers, when the forest was overtaken by a terrible roar. I was so frightened, even the trees shook when i did. Then out of nowhere, a blast of dark aura came flying from far away, it hit me, and i was forcefully taking root and I became the horrible creature that you just slayed. Then, when i heard your voice, crying for help, I awoken, but what came out was the deadly creature, called the Rafflesia. You all are very brave, and i have a request." Kusamura explained.

"What is your request?" Raze asked.

"Are there other gods and goddesses like you?" Bakemono asked.

"To answer you question, yes there are more gods and goddesses, and that leads me to my request. If Malice has taken root here, i have no doubt that it has spread to other places in this world. I want you to go across Rhea and save the other gods and goddesses. I also want you to use my power to help you in your quest, so i give you the symbol of my power. A golden rose, you may use it to call upon me to aid you, and use some of my magic.

"Hold on, Your Grace, we need to think this over..." Enigma said, bowing in respect. Then he huddled everyone and talked it over. After 2 minutes of discussing, they all came out of huddling and Skaters said;

"We accept this request, Your Grace."

"I'm happy you do, now, go and find your friends and save Rhea!" Kusamura said, giving them the golden rose, and sinking into the clearing, and took root, changing into a huge Cherry Blossom Tree.

"Wow... just like the Cherry Blossom tree back at the school..." Raze said, in awe.

"Yeah... Well, where do we go from here?" Skaters said, asking Enigma.

"We need to go to the Capital city of Wind Country, remember?" Enigma said.

"Oh yeah! well, let's go!" Skaters said smiling, "Oh! i almost forgot!" he said turning to Bakemono, "Um, i saved your things, here you go." Skaters gave Bakemono the blanket, the ring, and the locket.

"You... You went to get them?" Bakemono said with great surprise.

"I wanted to let you keep your memories alive on our journey, if you do, those memories of your family will become a reality again," Skaters said, smiling. "Well, lets go!"

Bakemono, smiled and nodded his head, and walked along with the rest of the gang onward to their unknowingly significant quest.
